The days have dwindled down to a precious few, and Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye! Are you ready for Christmas? That's the question folks keep asking me, and truthfully I'm not. I've decorated, and baked, and will bake some more, but ready? No. I always think I have time for "one more thing". Sometimes that works out, but I have the unfinished projects to prove that sometimes it doesn't.
In case you are also trying "one more project", here are the last Christmas images for this year. Click to enlarge, save to your computer, and enjoy.
As you might imagine, I spend a lot of time searching for Vintage Images to use in my work. Images from the Christmas season are among my favorites, with so much charm and such attention to details. I'm sure that some of you share my enthusiasm for these seasonal illustrations, so here are a few that are a bit out of the ordinary. These would be fun for cards or ornaments, or just print and frame, and prop on a shelf or in a cupboard. Just click on the images to enlarge, and save to your computer.
Are you one of the Holiday Baking Elves? I have such great memories of baking with my Grandma, during my childhood. Looking back, I don't know how she did it, but every year she'd have all six grandchildren over to bake fancy, cut out and frosted Christmas Cookies. Sugar cookies and Molasses cookies, with sprinkles and raisins and silver dragees. It was a magic time for all of us, and one of my best memories.
These Christmas Cookie tags and labels remind me of those times. They make wrapping and giving cookies such fun. Download them in my Etsy Shop and print as many as you need.
Look at what Lynn Barbadora did with some of the Santa's Pantry Labels!
It's such fun to see what such creative minds come up with. I hope you'll visit Lynn's blog, Painting Thyme Needfuls she has so many great ideas.
One last thing, I've added some new free Christmas tags to the sidebar, just click on the Santa face to download. A little gift from the Dog and me.
