New Free Printable Bookmarks

These bookmarks are based on some wonderful antique botanical drawings.

They can be used  for bookmarks, tags, or as part of a card or journal design. When I make bookmarks, I print the design on matte photo paper, then back it with a sheet of designer scrapbook paper or cardstock. I use glue stick to glue the two layers together, and then cut out the bookmark.  I also like to punch a hole at the top and add ribbon or yarn to finish.

Download a print quality copy of this design by clicking on the tab at the right side of this page.

The Dog and I hope you'll enjoy these, and that you'll take a moment to visit my Etsy Shop, Digital Antiques.

New Spring Printable Designs at Digital Antiques

I'd like to share some of my new designs today.

I just love Vintage botanical illustrations, so these berries just needed to become tags. The set has 6 different designs, and it's available in my Etsy shop, here.

Are you busy getting your garden into shape like I am? It made me think a set of garden theme postcards would be fun. I used some great vintage garden images to make this set of 8 printable post cards. You can see all 8 designs here.

Spring inspired Journaling spots, ready to print and use for your journal, scrapbook, gift cards or tags. See all five designs here.

I've actually been able to work in the garden a bit, and my tomato and pepper plants are coming along indoors. I'm going to plant some lettuce seeds in my old wash tubs tomorrow, hoping to get a few salads before it turns too hot.

Happy gardening, from the Dog and me.

What's making me happy this week...

Look, Spring! Yes, I know it's a weed, but it's that wonderful green that tells me Spring is really here.

This is another wonderful sight for me. So gorgeous and so fleeting, A really good life lesson to enjoy it now.

Spring on the Cumberland Plateau. The Dog is very pleased and so am I.

It's Almost Spring, Really...

Even though this is the way it looks on the farm this morning, I'm all about Spring.

Here are some new tags for Easter.  Download a print quality copy by clicking on the Tab in the right sidebar.  When the page at Box.net opens, click on the file name and choose Download to save to your computer.

Catching up a bit...

What have we been up to on the farm lately?  Lots of sewing and quilting, this time of year.  My quilt group has a biannual Quilt Show, and the next one is coming up in October.  We make a quilt to raffle for each show, and here's this year's design. We spent a day sewing together, and made the blocks for this.

Mr.Brown Dog was kind enough to help with photography, on a very cold and windy day.

We're very fortunate to have Becky Stowers, a wonderfully talented  machine quilter, in our group, and she'll be working her magic on the quilt next.

We also have a problem with the hydraulics on our farm tractor, so that needs work, as weather permits.  Lying underneath a tractor, in the mud, on a cold windy day is nobody's idea of a good time, so this project may take a while.

I hope you're all keeping warm and dry, snuggled by the fire with a good book.  Spring will be here soon, I really do believe that.

I'll be posting some free Easter Tags in a few days, so stop back and download them when you can.

Thanks from the Dog and me.
